Sunset Vista Vineyards, a small batch winery, is seeking a Tasting Room Associate for its tasting room, open June through October. We are open Friday and Saturday 12:00 – 5:00. We plan on expanding our openings to include Thursday and Sunday with the right person. Located in Grand Isle Vermont, the Sunset Vista Vineyards tasting room exemplifies our philosophy of providing a warm and comfortable environment for a relaxed wine tasting experience. Our Tasting Room Associate will contribute to that experience and ensure that our guests enjoy their visit.
WORK ACTIVITIES
- Providing an excellent, educational, and professional customer experience that focuses on loyalty and return visits from neighborhood visitors.
- Maintaining a space where guests love to visit and feel invited to lounge and enjoy Sunset Vista Vineyards’ wines.
- Merchandising, presenting, and selling Sunset Vista Vineyards wines. Understand and convey the unique selling points of the brand.
- Working as a positive team member. Helping out your coworkers to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Operating the Square POS system for all sales transactions.
- Assisting with opening, closing, stocking, labeling, cleaning duties
- Work before- or after-hours and private events, as needed.
REQUIREMENTS, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND WORK CONDITIONS
- Must be over 21 years of age
- Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to be insured
- Must be able to attain serving license within 1st week of hire
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
