Vineyard Worker

Sunset Vista Vineyards is hiring a vineyard worker to maintain several small vineyards located in Grand Isle Vermont. The job duration is spring and summer, April – September. Typically, 15-20 hours a week. Generally flexible, however, there are times when nature will dictate certain tasks be completed at specific times. You must be able to accommodate scheduling due to weather and condition of the vineyard. Vineyard and viticulturist jobs are for the true outdoors person who can work odd/all hours, is deeply interested in agriculture, and wants to live and work in the countryside.

This position has advancement potential for you to become the Vineyard Foreman / Forewoman / Foreperson. As the foreperson you’ll be more involved in the vineyard management planning as well as working more closely with the wine-making process. This role could become a year-round role with near-full-time responsibility during late spring and summer, yet you would still have a lot of flexibility during the late-fall and winter months.

NOTE: We are also hiring tasting room staff for June – September. Typically, 15-20 hours a week. Open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 12:00 – 5:00. Let us know if you’re interested in joining our tasting room operation, we’d enjoy having the same person be able to fill multiple roles / jobs.
